MAC haul.

Mac Haul

Hello, my lovely readers! I have a MAC haul to share with you where I will try my best to review the products I have used and tell you my favorite products from the haul.
I love MAC make-up, it is a well known fact amongst all of my friends and family that I have a slightly uncontrollable obsession with MAC make-up. Probably, given the chance I would purchase all of the products, from all of the lines. This, however, even for me is a pretty large MAC haul considering I used my own money and bought it all in one shop!
The images I have used of each product may be either one of my own or a google images picture depending on the quality of the pictures that I took on my camera (just to let you know, if the picture does seem too professional then it probably wasn't one that I took!) Anyway, enough rambeling, on with the haul.

The first product that I purchased is one of my long time favorites, it is probably the only face product that I have religiously purchased over and over and over and as you may have guessed by the picture below it is my beloved MAC pro-long wear conclear. This has been a main feature in my make-up collection for many years now. It glides on so smoothly, covers up even the worst spots and most importantly for me dosen't feel thick and heavy on the skin. This product retails at £14.50 and I feel that for a product with a high qaulity, nice packaging, and as the expression goes: 'does what it says on the tin.' I believe it is worth every penny. I have oily/combination skin and I think it works particularly well for this skin type.

The next product is another favorite of mine but I definatly can only buy this if I can justify it as a 'treat.' I purchased one of MAC's Nail Laqures I purchased this in the colour 'Morange.' I realise that this is bright orange and is not a suitable colour to wear during the cold winter months but I just know that this will be the perfect summer colour, I saw it and knew straight away that I had to order it. At £10 I feel this is quite a heafty price, however there is a lot of product, and so far, I can tell it coats well and lasts a good length of time. I am defiantly impressed!

 I also bought- 3 Lipsticks:
1)Saint Germain
2)Blankety
3) Pretty Please
(£14 each)

The two last things I purchased were:
One Cremecheen Glass in 'Rising Sun,' I thought this was the perfect subtle orange colour and I shall really enjoy wearing it.  (£17)

 Cremesheen Glass
Also, last but not least and top of my 'MAC to-buy list' for a while is (drumroll):
MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow in 'Ice' which, may I add, is probably the most beautiful and perfect eyeshadow colour you can imagine! (£16.50)

So everyone, that concludes my MAC haul! I realise that some of this was a bit wordy, but 'hey' I ramble! Hopefully I will be posting some more blogs soon. Bye, xox.

2013 FASHION OVERVIEW

Top 3 Fashion Trends Of 2013.

As this is my first ever blog post I guess I should probably explain; I have been thinking about blogging for a while as I definatly am not confident enough to start showing my face as a beauty guru on Youtube (yet.) One of my new years goals was to start a successful blog. So here we go! The first blog of many.

Trend number 1: Bermuda Shorts.
If, like me last summer you were not feeling brave enough to attempt the 'denim hot pants' look then this could be a winner for you. The slouchy 'cool-girl' shorts look good on all body types and paired with a large tote bag, some cute gladiator sandals and sunglasses you'll be fit to strut anywhere you please. And let's face it, these shorts are much more family-friendly!

Peter Som, Rag & Bone, DKNY  Trend Number 2: Leather
Leather; the fashionista approved, long standing trend that just keeps increasing in popularity. Still, it's getting bigger for 2013: leather skirts, jackets, blazers and leggings. It's definatly worth the investment in a staple leather piece to roll to work in or for nights out on the town; these pieces can be so versitile.

Trend Number 3: Bold Stripes
This bold print may be darish for some and a dream for someone else, but please, do not be scared to rock this print: Worn in small amounts, a scarf (for example) will produce a classic, 'timeless' look. Stripes worn with denim are 'all-American' but if you do choose to wear Pin stripes from head to toe, then you are just plain cool! This print has been all over the catwalks in New York and Paris, and now? Well, now it will be making an appearence in millions of wardrobes too!
Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs
